Watch: PM Modi’s first reaction after Rajya Sabha passes Citizenship bill

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted after the Rajya Sabha cleared Citizenship bill. PM Modi called it a 'landmark day' for India. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also tweeted on passage of bill. Shah hailed PM Modi's 'resolve to ensure dignity' of persecuted people. The Rajya Sabha cleared the bill with 125 MPs voting for, 105 voting against the motion. Lok Sabha had passed the bill with 311 votes for, 80 against.
