Priyanka Gandhi performs aarti in Varanasi as pre-poll ‘Ganga Yatra’ ends

Marking the culmination of her 'Ganga Yatra' ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, the Lok Sabha constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Priyanka, who had begun her journey with the 'Ganga Abhishekam' at Prayagraj, performed aarti at the Dashashwamedha Ghat in Varanasi. She has been handed the responsibility of ensuring Congress' success in eastern UP and the 'Ganga Yatra' is being seen as her attempt to mobilise support.
