Air Marshal BS Dhanoa took charge as the new Air Chief on Saturday. Dhanoa was commissioned into the Indian Air Force (IAF) in June 1978 as a fighter pilot, and served as vice chief of the Air Staff for a one-and-half year. Earlier, Air Marshal Dhanoa was the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South Western Air Command.
