24 people killed in road accident in Gujarat

At least 24 people were killed and around 20 were injured as a truck carrying labourers overturned in Gujarat. Deputy Inspector General R B Brahmbhatt has said that the truck was carrying labourers from Bhachau village. Brahmbhatt added that the accident occurred due to the driver's negligence and presently he is absconding. Meanwhile, treatment for the injured is in progress while the dead bodies have been sent to a nearby hospital for the post-mortem. The truck loaded with sand salt was on its way to central Madhya Pradesh when it skidded off the road.
