7-yr-old Indian treks Everest base camp, sets new record

While many fall prey to obstacles like cold temperatures and high wind-chill, but in front of seven-year-old Aaryan Balaji every obstacle had to face a defeat. The child prodigy has created history of sorts by becoming one of the youngest ever to trek up to Mt Everest's southern base camp at an altitude of 5,364 metres in Nepal. In an exclusive interview to ANI, young Aryan said that he did not face any difficulty in the process and is really happy. Balaji, the son of an Indian Navy officer, credited his parents and hard work for his success.
