Advani aide Sudheendra Kulkarni quits BJP

Bharatiya Janata Party's senior leader and political advisor Sudheendra Kulkarni announced his decision to quit the party on Sunday. He had been a close aide of senior leaders Atal Bihari Vajpayee and LK Avani and worked with Advani during 2009 General Elections. Though his decision came a week after the party expelled senior leader Jaswant Singh, Kulkarni cleared that his resignation has nothing to do with Singh's explusion.
