Advani to skip BJP meet in Goa today

BJP stalwart LK Advani, who has always been suspicious of leadership abilities of Narendra Modi, will skip an important preparatory meeting of the National Executive meet to be held today in Goa. Advani has cited health issues for not attending the meeting where the party is likely to make a big announcement on who will head the election campaign committee for the Lok Sabha polls. Advani is said to be opposing Modi being declared as chief of BJP's election committee. Just last week the 85-year-old leader had said that out of Modi and Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the MP Chief Minister more closely fit the Vajpayee mould of humility.
