Advani turns 84

Taking a break from his Jan Chetna Yatra, senior BJP leader L.K Advani is back in New Delhi to celebrate his birthday today. On the occasion of Advani's 84th birthday, BJP president Nitin Gadkari wished him good luck for the mission that he has started against corruption. Advani is celebrating his birthday amid hopes that he could soon be formally announced as the BJP's prime ministerial candidate. A former president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), LK Advani also served as a Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004.
