Another day of shutdown against fuel price hike

After Bengal and Orissa, it's the turn of Jharkhand to witness a shutdown. The Left allies of Congress led United Progressive Alliance, who is protesting against the hike in fuel prices have called for the day long shutdown in the state. Life in the state has come to a standstill and streets and offices bear a deserted look. The shops were also closed. Political activists in state capital, Ranchi took to the streets protesting against the price rise.
