R K Sinha, Director of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), India's premier nuclear installation, assured that the Department of Atomic Energy has enough security measures and any internal or external leak of information to the nuclear facilities in the country is not possible. He said this while delivering the keynote address at the two-day national conference, Advances in Nuclear Technology in Mumbai on Thursday. His statement comes in the wake of the release of hundreds of thousands of sensitive U.S. diplomatic cables on November 28 that include candid views of foreign leaders and blunt assessments of nuclear and terrorist threats.
