Bihar stampede mars Durga Puja festivities, 10 killed

At least ten persons were killed and many injured in a stampede that broke out on Saturday night during a ritual at a Durga temple in Bihar's Banka district on the occasion of 'Navratri' festival. The temple of Hindu Goddess Durga in Banka district is considered to be very revered among the locals. There were around 30,000 devotees praying when the incident took place.
