BJP MLA demands ban on skirts in schools

In a bizarre diktat, Alwar BJP legislator Banwari Lal Singhal has demanded a ban on skirts as uniform in schools to keep girls away from 'men's lustful gazes'. In a letter addressed to the state chief secretary CK Mathew, the BJP MLA has demanded that skirts should be replaced by trousers or Salwar-kameez.
