West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee said on Friday that he was hopeful of the Tata Motors' Nano car project coming up at Singur. And so he appealed to the opposition parties to ensure that their agitation there from August 24 remains peaceful. Bhattacharjee requested his political adversary Trinamool Congress to abet protests in the state over the issue and try to find a solution to the problem by discussing it with the government.
