Central rule in Karnataka

Karnataka Assembly is likely to be dissolved as a consequence of the decision of the Cabinet, which met in New Delhi today. The Cabinet considered the developments in the state in the wake of the Governor's recommendation following the collapse of the BJP government. Meanwhile, B.S. Yeddyurappa, the chief minister of Karnataka resigned on November 19, after his regional coalition ally refused to back him in a confidence vote.
