Chicken vanishes from menu in flu zone

Poultry products have vanished from the menu in Manipur state after an outbreak of avian flu. Most restaurants and hotels in Imphal are deserted. There has been a sharp decline in the number of customers after detection of bird flu in the state. Business has been largely hit with hoteliers lamenting that they are unable to meet even running expenses.
