Cong, BJP lock horns over food security bill

The Congress and the BJP engaged in war of words over food security bill, while the former claimed that the bill is beneficial for India's poor whereas the opposition termed it as anti-farmer. However, opposing ordinance on the food security bill, the BJP claimed that the bill is a threat to the nation's agricultural community. The Congress Party wants to push the National Food Security Bill before elections.
