Congress certain of forming government in Assam

Confident of winning the 2011 legislative elections, Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi, Tuesday said that Congress party would form the government in the state for the third time. Commenting on the record 76 percent voter turnout, he said that people of Assam have proved that they are nationalistic and don't believe in separation from India. Assam registered a record voter turnout in both phases of polling in the just concluded elections to the provincial legislature.
