Deepak Sandhu takes oath as CIC

Former media adviser to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Deepak Sandhu on Thursday took oath as the Chief Information Commissioner. Sandhu is replacing Satyanand Mishra, is a retired Indian Information Service (IIS) officer of 1971 batch.
