Dhoni's WC bat auctioned

Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's precious bat, which helped win the World Cup, fetched Rs 72 lakh in a charity auction held in London on Monday night.The event, which was organised in London's Hilton Hotel was attended by Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Khan and Harbhajan Singh. Besides his team-mates, Brian Lara, Courtney Walsh and David Boon were also present on the occasion. The bat was auctioned with an objective to raise funds for his wife's charitable organisation, Sakshi Foundation, to be used for under-privileged children.
