Digvijay faces flak over remark on CAG

Attacking Congress leader Digvijay Singh for accusing Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) Vinod Rai of harbouring “political ambitions” like one of his predecessors, TN Chaturvedi, the BJP today said that it is Singh's habit to praise those who hail his party and attack those who speak about their flaws. Hussain also added that the present CAG, Vinod Rai was a man with utmost integrity and sincerity, adding that an attack on him was equivalent to attacking the constitutional body. Meanwhile, rubbishing Digvijay's statement former CAG, TN Chaturvedi has said that he does not give importance to such statements and added that as far as Vinod Rai is concerned whatever he has done is within his duties.
