Drug trafficking has increased: Chidambaram

Speaking at silver jubilee celebrations of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in New Delhi today, Home Minister P Chidambaram said drug trafficking in the country has increased in the past 25 years. Chidambaram said cases of home use of varied drugs have also seen a drastic increase. The minister also noted, the drug control organisation continues to be severely understaffed.
