Election commission all set to conduct polls in UP

Chief Election Commissioner of India N Gopalaswami asserted that the Indian Administrative Service and Indian Police Service officers will be observed during the ensuing elections to the Lok Sabha to ascertain if they are biased with any political party. He clarified the stance taken by the Election Commission on the reported scarcity of IAS officers for the duty of observers.
