On the fifth anniversary of the serial blasts on local trains and at railway stations in Mumbai, railway authorities, policemen and relatives paid homage to the victims on Monday. The high-intensity bombs were detonated in seven trains in a span of 11 minutes on July 11, 2006, killing 187 commuters and injuring over 800. Recalling the gory incident, a top official of the railways said enhanced security management, including community involvement are being executed.
