Gadkari slams Congress for misusing CBI

BJP chief Nitin Gadkari on Monday hit out at the United Progressive Alliance government for the alleged misuse of (CBI) for political gains. While addressing media persons in Mumbai on Monday, he said that in the Sohrabuddin encounter case, the CBI, despite the Supreme court's directive, seemed to act more at the behest of the Congress party. Earlier BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu said that the CBI is under political pressure of the ruling Congress, and on this score, the BJP would expose the government for taking inadequate action in various other similar cases.
