Govt must explain why Saran resigned: BJP

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday asked the central government to explain as to why Shyam Saran, the Prime Minister's special envoy on Climate Change had quit. Saran decided to resign on Friday. He was first appointed as the special envoy on the Indo-US nuclear deal and later on climate change. His resignation has been accepted from March 14.
