Police personnel in Bihar presented guard of honour to the body of Assistant Sub Inspector Lucas Tete, one of the abducted policemen killed by Maoists, at Lakhisarai on Friday. Besides the top brass of the district police, the civil officials paid their last respects to Tete. Meanwhile, an atmosphere of gloom prevailed at Jamtoli village in Simdega district of the neighbouring Jharkhand state from where Tete hailed. Apart from the mourning kith and kin, the other residents of the village were not only sad but also extremely angry at the cowardly act of the extremists.
