Heat wave in Gujarat, mercury shoots up to 44

Heat wave conditions in Gujarat have resulted in scorching and burning heat during this summer season. Ahmedabad recorded the maximum temperature of 44 degree Celsius. According to the Meteorological department, rest of Gujarat is expected to record similar weather during the next 48 hours.
