India shocked over beheading of Nehru statue

India's junior Foreign Minister Anand Sharma has said that the government is shocked over Indian televisions reports that protesters sympathetic to the LTTE cause of Sri Lankan Tamil rebels beheaded a statue of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, outside the Indian High Commission. Sharma also said that the government is aware of the matter and is waiting for a detailed report.
