India should send relief to Sri Lanka

Political parties in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday asked New Delhi to urge Sri Lanka not to press its latest bloody offensive against the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, or LTTE. Representatives of political parties said India should send relief material to Sri Lanka to help the suffering people. Meanwhile, a students' Organisation held a demonstration condemning the stepped up offensive against Tamil rebels in Sri Lanka.
