India unveils biggest oil & gas auction

At a time when global oil demand is heading downwards, India has launched it's biggest-ever auction of oil and gas assets, offering 70 exploration blocks to attract investor s. India offered 24 deepwater blocks, 28 shallow water blocks and 18 on-land blocks, with the blocks being distributed throughout the country.
