Indian Army officer arrested over deadly bombing

An Indian army officer was arrested on Wednesday in connection with bomb blasts in Malegaon and Modasa which killed five people. Officers from the Anti-Terrorism squad in Mumbai questioned Lieutenant-Colonel Srikant Prasad Purohit, for days before finally arresting him. A local court in Nasik remanded him to police custody till November 15. The court also approved conducting narco-analysis test on Purohit.
