Indian economy may turn significantly worse in 2009

Indian economy would turn 'significantly worse' in the year 2009 as compared to previous year amid the current economic crisis that is unlikely to end soon. This was the view of Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman of India's Planning Commission while addressing the annual session of the Confederation of Indian Industry at New Delhi on Friday.
