Indian, Pak pilgrims urge governments to ease visa regime

Indian and Pakistani pilgrims on Wednesday urged their respective governments to ease the visa regime and keep 'visa reforms' on the agenda in the upcoming talks of the Foreign Ministers on July 15 and July 16.Pilgrims said that both the governments should abolish city-specific visas to the citizens of either country. They felt that unless both the governments set some agenda in the upcoming talks in Islamabad, about visa, trade and other issues, the neighbouring countries wouldn't be able to build a relation. There are more than 172 Sikh shrines in Pakistan but pilgrims could visit only a few because of the visa problem.
