Irate TMC workers damage police station in Hooghly

Irate workers of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) protested outside a police station in West Bengal's Hoogly district on Saturday after a TMC activist died in custody due to alleged torture by police. TMC workers pelted stones at the police station and damaged its property. Police chased away the protesters after a vehicle and signboard of the police station was damaged in the conflict.
