ISRO to set up science city for advanced research

India's apex space body, the Indian Space Research Organisation announced the creation of a 'science city' in Karnataka for advanced research into spacecraft technologies. At a media interaction in Bangalore on Saturday, ISRO Chairman K. Radhakrishnan said four premier science and technology agencies, including ISRO, would set up facilities in the 'science city'. Radhakrishnan also spoke about the forthcoming Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) to be launched by ISRO.
