J&K hosts Sri Lankan dancers

Jammu and Kashmir recently hosted Sri Lankan dancers as part of a cultural exchange programme. A group of 30 dancers from Sri Lanka performed their classical form of dance in Jammu, the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir at the invitation of the state's Academy of Culture and Arts. This was the first time, a cultural troupe from Sri Lanka had staged a performance in the troubled Himalayan region.
