Karnataka temple ritual: Babies tossed from chariot

A dangerous ritual was conducted at the annual festival of a temple in Bagalkot where babies were tossed by a temple priest from atop a chariot and caught by the waiting crowds. It is believed that this ritual of Karnataka will make the children stronger.
