Kashmir election officials say ready to conduct Polls

Election officials in Kashmir on Sunday said that work was going on at full swing to hold polls in the disputed region. Election Commission earlier held a meeting with political parties to decide poll dates for Kashmir. Officials in Jammu said that they would be all ready to hold the polls in a few days. Srinagar observed a shutdown on September 8 when separatist called a strike to protest against holding polls in the region.
