Maken stresses on a single governing body for Hockey

Gearing up for Olympics 2012, Sports Minister Ajay Maken on Tuesday stressed on a single governing body for Hockey, proposing equal representation to Hockey India (HI) and the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF), the two sports federations that are at loggerheads over governance and power sharing. He spoke to mediapersons in New Delhi after seeking a reply from Presidents of both the federations, who have sought a week's time before sending an official reply.
