Mamata meets rape victim's family for 5 minutes

Nine days after the brutal gangrape and murder of a 20-year-old girl in West Bengal's Barasat district took place, chief minister Mamata Banerjee visited the grieving family but was forced to leave the place within five minutes of her arrival, due to protests by a group of women protestors on Monday. The protesters shouted anti-government slogans The deceased girl's family had earlier refused any kind of help from the state government and had demanded that all the rapists be hanged to death.
