Maoists blow up railway track in Bihar

Maoists blew up a railway track on Muzaffarpur-Hajipur section under Sonepur division of the East-Central Railway in Bihar on Saturday, temporarily disrupting rail movement under the ongoing Maoist-sponsored 48-hours shutdown. The shutdown called by extremist group Tritiya Prastuti Committee is a consequence of the killing of 10 of its cadres by a rival Maoist group on March 28.
