Meerut: Upset over not having son, father kills daughter

In a shocking development, possibly another case of shameful honour killing, a father has killed his very own 23-year-old daughter, in Meerut. The mother has filed a police complaint, claiming that her engineer husband, killed the girl, as he was upset for not having a son. The body of the deceased, Preeti was found in the bathroom of her house. The cause of the death could be ascertained after post-mortem. The father, who was later taken into custody, refuted the allegations.
