Mehbooba meets PM, demands withdrawal of armed forces from J&K

After meeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Mehbooba Mufti, President of People's Democratic Party (PDP), asked the PM to withdraw the armed forces deployed to tackle militancy in the valley region. She demanded immediate revocation of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) and pointed out the worsening situation in the valley.
