Memorial to Operation Bluestar kicks off

The memorial to Operation Bluestar is being built in the Golden Temple in Amritsar ahead of the 28th anniversary of the Operation on June 6, a day Sikh groups refer to as "genocide day". Talking about the construction of the memorial, Rajinder Singh Mehta, a member of the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee SGPC said that help was coming from several quarters for building the memorial.
