NBW issued against Vijay Mallya

A court in Hyderabad issued a non-bailable warrant against Kingfisher Airlines Chairman Vijay Mallya and five others in a cheque bounce case filed by GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL). Earlier in the day Civil Aviation Minister, Ajit Singh had said that after the Kingfisher Airlines replies to the show cause notice, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) would take a decision if the cash-trapped airline fulfils safety and maintenance requirements.
