Nitin Desai to make movie on Marathi king Shivaji

After making a successful television series on legendary Marathi king and warrior Shivaji, producer Nitin Desai announced a film on the same in Mumbai. Desai, the famous Bollywood art director-turned-producer, made the announcement during the launch of the DVD of the serial called Raja Shivchatrapati, which is based on Shivaji Raje Bhonsale. Desai has also worked in many films and designed sets in critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies like Lagaan and Jodha Akbar.
