Opposition parties criticise fuel price hike

Indian opposition political parties on Thursday condemned the central government's decision to hike petrol and diesel prices. Jacked up by 10 per cent, the hike is feared to have a falling effect leading to the increase in prices of common goods. Lalu Yadav, chief of RJD, said the hike was anti-farmer.
