Pilgrim tourism boosts trade in Jammu

Hindu pilgrims flocking the revered shrines of Amarnath cave and Mata Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir are boosting business in Jammu region of the state. Thousands of Hindu devotees coming from different parts of India use Jammu as a transit point before proceeding to the pilgrimage. Thus, a wide range of businesses, from dry fruit shops to hotels, is on a rise.
