PM urges industrialized countries to finance clean energy initiatives

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that industrialized countries should lead in financing sustainable and green energy projects to lower carbon emissions globally. Addressing the 4th Clean Energy Ministerial in New Delhi on Wednesday, Singh said that industrialized countries are mostly responsible for harmful emissions and it is their imperative to provide workable solutions to fight it. He also said that India was committed to increase its energy efficiency by 2020.
