Mohammad Ali, treasurer of the banned Students' Islamic Movement of India or SIMI and a suspect in the recent Ahmedabad and Jaipur serial blasts, was taken on three-day custody by police on Monday. There Ali was produced before a local court order in central Jabalpur city. India has witnessed a spate of serial blasts during the past few months claiming hundreds of innocent lives and leaving hundred others maimed and injured.
